`Classic Tasting
In a classic tasting, you choose a theme such as a wine region or grape variety or wine style and I select 6 wines for the tasting based on your budget.
At the start of the tasting I give an overview of how to taste wine using a simple systematic approach.
Plenty of opportunity to chat with your friends of colleagues and ask your questions as we walk our way through the wine flight.
Wine & Cheese
In a wine and cheese pairing tasting, we still taste 6 wines and a theme can be chosen for the tasting. Each wine is paired with an artisan cheese based on the wine attributes helping you to understand the key principles to pairing cheese, and other foods with wine.
To start, I will talk through the systematic approach to appreciating wine and as always plenty of opportunity for questions.
The Wine Bluff
The wine bluff is great for a private social or a team event with an opportunity for creative fun and competitiveness.
As with all our tastings, we begin with an overview of how to taste wine using the systematic approach – the key to bluffing in the game!
The first round of the game is led by Kate making three statements about the wine – but which is the lie? The teams take it in turns with the remaining wines and Kate keeps the score.
